Cozy Powell was a British rock drummer born on December 29, 1947, in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England. He passed away on April 5, 1998, due to a road accident near Bristol. Widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential drummers of all time, many rock drummers have cited him as a major influence.
