Crow Johnson is a US folk vocalist, performer, and songwriter. She was part of the folk-rock duo Avalon and moved to London, England in 1968, where she secured major recording and publishing contracts with EMI. After returning to the United States, she became a regular performer at the Kerrville Folk Festival starting in 1981. Between 1978 and 1994, Crow published and edited a quarterly folk music magazine called The Zassafras Music News. In 1995, she was honored with the WFMA Kate Wolf Memorial Award.
