Crystal Fighters is a British/Spanish folktronica band that formed in London, UK, in 2007. The band took its name from an unfinished opera and was inspired by Basque folk music and mythology. They established Zirkulo Records to release their debut album, "Star Of Love," which was later licensed to PIAS for Europe and Australia, KSR for Japan, and Atlantic for the USA. Tragically, on September 12, 2014, their drummer, Andrea Marongiu, passed away unexpectedly. He had joined the band in 2010.
