El Cuarteto Marcano was a musical quartet from Puerto Rico, formed in 1936. The group consisted of four members: Pedro Marcano, known as 'PIQUITO', from Bayamón; Claudio Ferrer from Comerío; Leocadio 'LALO' Martinez from Coamo; and Vitín Mercado from Arecibo. The quartet was active for nine years before disbanding in 1945.
