Curtis Knight was an American musician and writer, born on May 9, 1929, in Fort Scott, Kansas. He passed away on November 29, 1999, in Lelystad, Flevoland, Netherlands. Knight was closely associated with Jimi Hendrix, with whom he performed. He authored two books about Hendrix: "Starchild" and "Jimi: An Intimate Biography Of Jimi Hendrix." Additionally, between 1973 and 1974, he fronted a band.
