Cynthia Dall, known as Cindy Dall, was a musician and photographer born in 1971. She recorded two albums: an untitled release in 1996 under Drag City (US) / Domino (UK) and "Sound Restores Young Men" in 2002 under her full name, released by Drag City. Dall collaborated with Bill Callahan's Smog on various recordings and live performances. In 1998, she provided vocals for a remix of "Torture Day" by The Notwist. As a photographer, her murder-glam aesthetic aligned her with transgressive visual artists like Richard Kern and Nick Zedd. Her self-portraits were often featured in Lisa Crystal Carver's Rollerderby. Cynthia Dall passed away in April 2012.
