**Bio of Dam Sam The Miracle Man (A.C. Tolbert)** Dam Sam The Miracle Man, known as A.C. Tolbert, was born in Selma, Alabama, where his father, a roving preacher, took him along to various churches. From a young age, A.C. showcased his natural talent for singing, leading choirs by the age of ten. He later sang and played gospel music at a nursing home, developing the residents into a choir that performed with him on television every other Sunday. In 1966, A.C. decided to transition into rock music and moved to Detroit in 1967 to pursue fame. After a year of auditioning with a large record company, he opted to work with a smaller label instead. It was during this time that he met Jack Taylor, a like-minded individual, and together they began to build a team that would ultimately produce their album. Along with other collaborators, including Ben Littles, Love Star Music, and various vocalists and musicians, they created a collective effort to share their music with the world.
