**Bio: Damn Sam The Miracle Man (A.C. Tolbert)** Damn Sam The Miracle Man, whose real name is Arthur Cleveland Tolbert, was affectionately known as O.C. due to a nickname given by his father, a preacher in Selma, Alabama. O.C. was born into a life of music, accompanying his father as he preached and participated in various activities, including farming. By the age of ten, he was already leading church choirs, showcasing his natural talent for singing and engaging others in musical festivities. O.C. spent time singing and playing gospel music at a nursing home in Selma while also making television appearances every Sunday. His work with the nursing home residents led to the formation of a choir that performed with him on TV every other week. In 1966, determined to expand his musical horizons, O.C. transitioned to rock music and moved to Detroit in 1967 to pursue fame. After an initial rejection from a large record company, he opted to work with a smaller label. His journey took a significant turn when he met Jack Taylor, a fellow musician, and together they began to make strides in the music scene, enlisting a group of talented individuals to contribute to their project. This collaboration included producer Jack Taylor, music director Ben Littles, lyricists from Love Star Music, and vocalists O.C., A.J. Branham, and Rudy Thompson, along with drummer Dave Newton and electric congos/bongos player
