Damo Suzuki is a Japanese musician best known as the dynamic and improvisational vocalist for the pioneering German krautrock band Can during the early 1970s. Joining the group in 1970, his spontaneous, free-form singing became a defining element on influential albums such as *Tago Mago*, *Ege Bamyasi*, and *Future Days*. After leaving Can in 1973, Suzuki embarked on a lifelong journey of musical exploration, performing globally with his ever-changing “Sound Carriers” and championing the spirit of instant composition and collective creativity.
