Daniel Mathieu is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician whose career began in the Rouyn-Noranda region of Quebec. He was part of a 60's garage ye-ye band, which included future members of another group. During the same period, the band toured and performed as the backing band for another artist. In the 1970s, Daniel recorded two progressive folk studio albums: his debut album in 1970 and a second album in 1976.
