Danny Monday, born Dan on September 26, 1942, was a talented singer known for his remarkable voice, often described as a "vocal sensation" capable of melting the coldest of hearts. He grew up in Milwaukee, WI, after his family moved there when he was 8 years old. Dan served in the United States Army as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division from March 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1963, after which he returned to Wisconsin. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, he recorded four albums and several singles, achieving success on the national charts and reaching #1 in Milwaukee. Throughout his career, he performed shows across the United States. Dan passed away on January 3, 2012.
