Danny Paul Grody is a founding member of the San Francisco-based bands Tarentel and The Drift. A self-taught guitarist, his songwriting is characterized by melodies that reflect his appreciation for West African kora, Takoma style fingerpicking, and elements that are minimal, repetitive, and hypnotic.
