Danny Rivers was born on September 7, 1942, in Liverpool, UK, and passed away on July 28, 2016. He grew up in London and was discovered at the age of 18 by Larry Parnes and Joe Meek. Throughout his career, he toured with notable artists such as Johnny Burnette and appeared on the Wham TV show. In the early sixties, Danny recorded several rock and roll singles for Top Rank, Decca, and HMV, with production by Dick Rowe and Joe Meek. These recordings have since become quite collectible.
