**Bio: Darkwood Dub** Darkwood Dub originated in Belgrade in 1988, blending reggae grooves, distorted guitars, and emotional lyrics. Their debut album, *Paramparcad*, released in 1994, established them as the most popular underground band in Belgrade, attracting packed crowds despite minimal media exposure. Their second album, *U nedogled* (1996), showcased their evolving musical style and was acclaimed as the best album of the year by Yugoslav music press. In 1997, the band contributed music to the Belgrade version of *Trainspotting*, further solidifying their presence in the local music scene. Their next album, *Elektropionir*, released in September 1999 after delays due to the Kosovo war, marked a significant shift towards mainstream recognition, blending dance music influences with alternative rock. Their 2002 album, *Life Begins At 30*, was celebrated as the best YU album of the year and led to a highly successful tour across several countries and cities.
