Darryl Pandy was a Chicago native vocalist born on December 24, 1962. He gained prominence in the music scene when house music crossed over from Chicago to the UK and European audiences in 1986. Pandy was brought in to provide vocals for the track "Love Can't Turn Around," which became a commercial success in the US and played a significant role in popularizing the Chicago house sound. The song reached the UK in mid-1986 and became a Top 10 hit. Darryl Pandy passed away on June 10, 2011, at the age of 48.
