Dave Mayberry is a Brighton, UK-based actor and recording artist with a diverse career spanning television, film, radio, and theatre worldwide. His professional singing career began in 1966 with backing vocals on the track "La La La Song." Throughout the 1970s, he performed in cabaret and theatre shows across the UK, including working for the Mecca organization on the London nightclub scene alongside jazz pianist Frank Stafford. Mayberry frequently appeared at the Cafe de Paris in London's Leicester Square with Johnny Joseph's swing band. In the West End, he played the role of Pharaoh in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the Vaudeville Theatre and took on various roles in productions of "Only the Lonely" at the Piccadilly and Whitehall theatres. His performances as Orbison's songwriting partner, Braxton Dixon, and a British DJ and television personality were featured in the 1995 Original Cast Recording. Over the years, Mayberry has collaborated with numerous stars from the 1960s and 70s, and he has been a recording artist for various labels. In 2019, Brighton's Latest TV premiered his concept video album.
