Dave Phillips, known as dp, has been a purveyor of radical sound since the mid-1980s. He has been working solo since 1987, during which he developed a unique sonic language characterized by sharp compositional techniques and strong environmentalist connotations. Based in Zürich, Switzerland, dp is associated with Schimpfluch.
