David Bendeth is an English producer, arranger, songwriter, guitarist, and keyboardist, born on June 17, 1954, in Stoke Newington, Hackney, London, UK. He moved to Canada in 1963, settling in Toronto, Ontario. Bendeth studied at the Berklee College of Music and worked in a record shop during his teenage years. He began his musical career in the late 1970s as a solo recording artist and producer, releasing three albums between 1980 and 1983. From 1987 to 1990, he worked as a songwriter, penning songs for various artists. Over the years, he has held executive positions at different record labels and has primarily focused on production since the mid-1980s.
