David Foster is a Canadian producer, arranger, and composer, born on November 1, 1949, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He is also known for his extensive work as a pianist and keyboard player. At the age of 13, Foster enrolled as a student at the University of Washington. In 2010, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and has received numerous other awards throughout his career.
