David Martin is a renowned artist who has sold over 26 million records worldwide throughout his career, which spans over 40 years. He was part of a successful songwriting and production team, collaborating with notable figures in the music industry. For over 15 years, David and his partners achieved significant success writing songs for artists such as Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley, and Cilla Black. In 1978, he formed a record company partnership with famous nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow, during which he wrote and produced music for Edwin Starr and Dusty Springfield. In 1982, David amicably parted ways with his songwriting partners and began touring the world as the lead vocalist for the James Last Orchestra. His recent projects include stage musicals, such as adaptations of "Great Expectations" and "Christmas Angel," both scheduled for release in 2009.
