Davy Graham was an English folk singer, arranger, and acoustic guitarist, born on November 26, 1940, in Leicester, UK. He passed away on December 15, 2008. Graham was known for revolutionizing folk guitar playing by inventing a distinct modal tuning and incorporating elements of jazz and improvisational methods, as well as adding textures from Arabic and Indian music.
