Daybreak is a band co-founded in 1974 by Larry Marc-Aurele and Kenny Simmons. Known for their top 40 hits and original music, they played across the tri-state area and toured the east coast, mastering various styles including jazz, disco, pop, and funk. In 1980, their single "Everybody Get Off" reached #65 on Billboard's Top 100 soul charts. The original lineup included Kenny Simmons on lead vocals, Joe Lafragola on guitar and vocals, Marc Madi on drums, Larry Marc on percussion, and Ernie Angrisano on bass and vocals.
