Days Of Sorrow is a band formed by William Lennox (vocals, keyboards) and André Schreiber (bass) in Dortmund, Germany, in 1981, during the emergence of the Post-Punk/New Wave movement. The original lineup included Wolfram Huber (guitar) and Nicolai Sabotka (drums). The band gained attention when John Tollhaus overheard them performing their song "Wild World" during a rehearsal and subsequently offered to produce their first 12” EP. The EP “Remembering The Days” was released by Tollhaus Records in 1984. This was followed by two 7” singles of "Wild World" and another 12” EP titled “A Thousand Faces” in 1986. Shortly before a planned tour in Spain, the band disbanded. In December 2017, William and André reformed Days Of Sorrow and began producing new material.
