Real Name: Dayton is a soul group that emerged from Dayton, Ohio, in the 1980s. The group featured a diverse line-up of members, including Chris Jones (1980-1985), Craig E. Robinson (1982), David Shawn Sandridge (1980-1985), Dean Hummons (1980-1981), Derrick Armstrong (1980-1981), Elaine Terri (1985), Evan Rogers (1982), Jennifer Matthews (1982), Jenny Douglas (1980-1981), John Hardin (1980), Justin Gresham (1982), Karen Harris Chappell (1983), Kevin Hurt (1982-1985), Michael Dunlap (1982), Rachel Beavers (1982-1985), and Rahni P. Harris, Jr. (1983-1985). Throughout the first half of the 1980s, they released five albums.
