Dead Can Dance is an eclectic musical entity formed in 1981 in Melbourne, Australia. They were significant proponents of their label throughout the 1980s and 1990s. After splitting in 1998, the band briefly reunited for a world tour in 2005. They came together again in winter 2011 to record a new album, Anastasis, and completed a world tour promoting its release in 2012. Their most recent album, Dionysus, was released in 2018, and they toured Europe in 2022.
