Dead Kennedys is a punk band from San Francisco, originally active from 1978 to 1986. In 2000, frontman Jello Biafra lost a legal case brought by his former bandmates concerning songwriting credits and unpaid royalties. Following this, the band reformed in 2001 without Biafra, featuring various vocalists, but has not released new material since.
