Dean Fraser, born on August 4, 1957, is a renowned Jamaican saxophonist known for his extensive contributions to reggae music since the mid-1970s. He has played on hundreds of recordings throughout his career. In recognition of his significant services to music, he was awarded the Musgrave Medal by the Jamaican government in 1993.
