Death In Vegas is an electronic rock band from the United Kingdom, primarily the brainchild of Richard Fearless (Richard Maguire). Since its formation in London in 1994 by Fearless and Steve Hellier, the band has seen numerous collaborators come and go, making it essentially Fearless' project. Their sound is influenced by a diverse range of musical genres, including psychedelic rock, electronic, krautrock, dub, and industrial, resulting in a constant evolution between live rock sounds and electronic music. Initially signed to Concrete Records under the name Dead Elvis, they were forced to change their name due to objections from the estate, leading to Dead Elvis becoming the title of their debut album.
