Deep Wound was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1982 in Westfield, Massachusetts. The band disbanded in 1984 when two of its members, the drummer and the guitarist, went on to form another group. In 2004, Deep Wound briefly reformed for a concert where they were supported by other acts. The line-up included J Mascis on drums, Lou Barlow on guitar, Scott Helland on bass guitar, and Charlie Nakajima on vocals.
