Def-i is a talented artist from the Diné Nation, making waves in the underground indie rap scene. As an MC, producer, and artist-educator, he has garnered significant recognition, being featured on platforms such as Sway In The Morning, NPR, BBC, Van’s Warped Tour, Democracy Now!, HipHopDX, RT America, AJ+, and PBS. In addition to his musical endeavors, Def-i is an experienced youth workshop provider and an active community member. He has also served as a US Cultural Ambassador in Nigeria. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with educational institutions to teach creative writing, song recording, beat making, and the fundamentals of Hip-Hop. Notably, in 2021, he played a key role in raising over $700,000 for New Mexico Food Banks through a virtual concert.
