Delegation was a British soul-vocal group formed in Birmingham in 1976, remaining active until 1983. The original lineup consisted of Ricky Bailey, Ray Patterson, and Len Coley. In 1979, Len Coley was replaced by Bruce Dunbar. The group later added Texas-born vocalist Kathy Bryant, with whom they released the single "It's Your Turn" in 1983. During this time, Ricky and Ray wrote "Stand Up Reach For The Sky" for Revelation in 1982. Although they later re-emerged, they did not achieve significant success. Throughout their career, they were produced and led by a British mastermind. Delegation is known for hit singles such as "Where Is The Love (We Used To Know)," "Oh Honey," "Put A Little Love On Me," "You And I," and "Heartache No. 9."
