Demon Fuzz was an Afro-rock group formed in 1968, consisting of members who had immigrated to Britain from Commonwealth countries. The band's name translates to "devil's children or bad policemen." Initially, they played soul and Blue Beat, but a trip to Morocco inspired a shift in their style, leading to a unique blend of funk, rock, jazz, and African music. The group's album has become a popular source for sampling. Demon Fuzz disbanded in 1972.
