Dennis Brown was a renowned reggae singer and songwriter, born on February 1, 1957, in Kingston, Jamaica. He became one of the most popular artists in the history of Jamaican recorded music, with notable hits including "Money In My Pocket," "Sitting and Watching," "Cassandra," "No More Will I Roam," "Africa," "Love Jah," "Repatriation," "Jah Can Do It," "Love And Hate," "Promised Land," and "Judge Not." He passed away on July 1, 1999, in Kingston. He was also a husband and father.
