Dennis Kane is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer based in Washington, DC. He is recognized for his work with various recordings, including projects like Ex Hex, Benjy Ferree, The Sounds of Kaleidoscope, The Moderate, Thee Lolitas, and Suns of Guns. Kane has also played in notable DC bands such as Tone, Eyes of the Killer Robot, and Red Spells Red. He is a beloved figure in the local music community, known for his long tenure as the sound engineer at the renowned music venue, The Black Cat. Currently, he performs alongside cellist and viola da gamba player Amy Domingues in their experimental Early Music/Experimental Electronic project, "Domingues and Kane."
