Desmond Champ was a British musician, arranger, producer, and bandleader, born on 9 July 1928 in London, England. He passed away on 7 June 2006 in London, England. Champ was noted for his production and arrangement work, particularly in collaboration with a glam-rock band. Later in his career, he served as musical director for various artists.
