Desmond Leslie was a British pilot, filmmaker, writer, and musician, born on June 29, 1921, in London, UK. He was a member of the Leslie family, known for their ownership of Castle Leslie in County Monaghan, Ireland, where he spent much of his childhood and later life. Desmond Leslie passed away on February 21, 2001, in Antibes, France.
