Deus Ex Machina is a hardcore/punk band formed in 1989 in Athens, Greece, originally starting as 'Rotten Minds.' They have performed at various venues and festivals, making their live debut on November 2, 1989, at An in Athens. Over the years, they played alongside several notable acts, including performances at Φιλοσοφική Σχολή in Thessaloniki on January 20, 1990, and at Πολυτεχνείο of Athens on February 10, 1990. Their live shows continued throughout the years, with notable performances on March 29, 1991, at An Club, and on December 14, 1991, at ΑΣΟΕΕ in Athens. In 1993, they played at Theatro Kipou in Thessaloniki on May 21 and at Pedio Areos in Athens on June 26. In 2000, they participated in the Biennale festival in Torino, Italy. They returned to the stage on May 23, 2010, at An Club as a support act and took part in a solidarity festival at Theatro Vrahon in Petroupolis on September 26, 2010.
