Dick Garcia is an American jazz guitarist born on May 31, 1931, in New York City. He began playing guitar at the age of nine and was self-taught. In 1950, he started performing with various artists and rejoined Scott in 1955. Throughout his career, he recorded with several notable musicians and released an album as a leader in 1956 titled "A Message From Garcia," which featured prominent artists. In the 1960s, Garcia toured with Shearing and other musicians.
