Dick Raaijmakers (September 1, 1930 - September 5, 2013) was a Dutch composer and educator known for his work in electronic music. He studied piano at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and worked at Philips in the field of electro-acoustics from 1954 to 1960. Raaijmakers, along with Jan Boerman, established his own electronic music studio in The Hague between 1963 and 1966. He taught contemporary and electronic music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague from 1966 to 1995. In addition to his work as a composer and teacher, Raaijmakers explored various other mediums, including visual art, theatre, cinema, and literature, to innovate the dynamic relationship between art and technology.
