Richard L. Jackson, known in the entertainment world as "Dickie Wonder," was born in Richmond, Virginia. He was 66 years old when he passed away on February 3, 2010. Richard was baptized at an early age and became a member of the 31st Street Baptist Church in Richmond. He received his education in the Richmond Public School system and worked at Pitchford Cleaners. Music was his passion, and he pursued a career in the entertainment industry, recording with August Moon and collaborating with various artists, including Henrietta Doswell, Doris Allen, Major Harris, and his special friend Tyrone Thomas from the group "7 Minutes of Funk."
