**Bio:** Die Blitz is a musical group formed by José Marcial Gómez (lead vocals), Mauricio Zepeda Guevara (guitar and group owner), Arnoldo Zepeda (bass, brother of Mauricio), Tito Platero (piano), and Eduardo Hidalgo (drums). The group originated among students at the Centroamericano Liceo in San Salvador, with some family members also involved. The name "Die Blitz," which means "Lightning" in German, was inspired by a German cruise ship that visited their country during that time.
