Digna Isabel Guevara Fuentez, born on June 14, 1966, in Milagro, Guayas, Ecuador, has been passionate about music since childhood, supported by her mother, Mrs. Rosita Fuentes. At the age of six, she began her studies at Victoria Concha de Valdez school, where her talent was recognized, leading her to perform at a civic event. Digna Isabel won first place in the Pasillo Festival of Milagro and later secured second place in a national music contest organized by Radio Atalaya and Radio La Voz de Milagro. Desiring to sing Tropical music, she joined the Samaniego brothers' orchestra as the main vocalist, thanks to Mr. Carlos Samaniego. Her participation in a Tropical music contest on TC Television in 1984 earned her second place. Afterward, she was approached to become an anchor announcer, and three and a half years later, she was discovered by Mr. Jorge Macias, the managing director of FEDISCOS, who hired her as an exclusive artist for five years, later renewing her contract for an additional three years. During her time with FEDISCOS, Digna Isabel released successful singles such as "Celitos," "La Tumba Hombre," "Nadie Como Tu," "Lagrimas De Amor," and "Se Acabó," gaining recognition both locally and internationally. She became known as "La Chica Celitos" and "La Tumba Hombre
