Dino Sabatini is a prominent figure in the Italian techno scene, known for his work with labels such as Elettronica Romana, Prologue, Stroboscopic Artefacts, and Sonic Groove. As part of the duo Modern Heads, he gained recognition in 2006 and 2007 with successful EPs like “Paper Toys,” “Ordinary Madness,” and “Gliding,” which have inspired many artists in the international techno community. His solo productions represent a new concept in techno, characterized by a continual exploration of soundscapes, complex rhythms, hypnotic sequences, and harmonic twists. The double EP “Daughter of Phorcys” released on Prologue quickly gained traction among top techno clubs and DJs worldwide. In recent years, Sabatini has pursued new musical boundaries by establishing his own label, Outis, to express various artistic tensions and needs. The label's first release, “Modulated Waves,” received widespread acclaim within the international techno scene. In Autumn 2012, after a year of research, he released “Shaman’s Path,” his first concept album on Prologue, which transcends classical techno canons and affirms his status as an artist without boundaries.
