Disrupt is a band that originated in the summer of 1987 in Lynn, Massachusetts. The original lineup consisted of Jay Stiles on vocals, Pete Kamarinos on vocals, Chris Drake on guitar, Harry Haralabatos on drums, and Tony Leone on bass. After recording one rehearsal demo, Tony and Harry departed from the band. In the spring of 1988, Brad Clark joined as the drummer and Mike Williams as the guitarist, but Brad left shortly after, leading Mike to take over drumming duties. With this lineup, they recorded the "Millions Die For Moneymaking" demo in November 1988, with Jay also contributing on bass. In the spring of 1989, Mike and Chris left, prompting the return of original drummer Harry to record songs intended for a split 7" with Extreme Noise Terror. Scott Lucid then joined as the bassist. By October 1989, the lineup included Pete on vocals, Jay on vocals and guitar, Scott on bass, and Harry on drums, with whom they recorded five songs for their self-titled 7". In 1990, Chris Drake rejoined the band, and Terry Savastano from Spasm came in as a second guitarist. Scott left, and Bob Palombo took over on bass. This lineup recorded 11 songs for the "Refuse Planet" 7" and a split 7" with Destroy! in January 1991. Chris departed in early 1991 and
