DiY, short for Do It Yourself, was a veteran free party collective based in Nottingham, formed in 1989. The collective included DJs such as Digs and Woosh, Harry, Jack, Simon DK, Pezz, and Emma, along with engineers and sound personnel. DiY also operated its own record label, releasing at least 30 12" records and 2 albums, and had releases on Warp. A history of the DiY sound system, authored by founding member Harry Harrison, was published by Velocity Press in 2022.
