In 1996, he won the DMC World DJ Championship of Hungary and formed his rap group, Árral szemben (Against the Current), where he crafted unique beats and samples. His debut solo album, The Silent Partner, was released in 2004 under the Ugar label, showcasing his talent as an instrumental artist who blends urban hip-hop with elements of Hungarian culture, jazz, contemporary, and folk music, often evoking cinematic qualities in his compositions. DJ Bootsie's music has gained recognition, being featured in notable platforms such as the television show CSI, the Buddha Bar Music Compilation (Vol. 7), DJ Cam Mix Albums, and the Mercedes Mix Tape. His second solo album, Holiday in the Shade, released in December 2009 by the British label BBE, received widespread acclaim and included collaborations with New York MCs Vast Aire and O.C., along with another feature on CSI. In live performances, DJ Bootsie leads the DJ Bootsie Quartet, which emphasizes the intersection of hip-hop and jazz, allowing him to use his turntable as an expressive instrument.
