DJ Cut Killer is a French hip-hop DJ and producer, born in 1971 in Morocco and raised in Les Mureaux, a western suburb of Paris. He has been one of the most prolific DJs in the French hip-hop scene since the early 1990s. In 1995, he gained further recognition by starring in the motion picture "La Haine." DJ Cut Killer was a member of the first association in Paris dedicated to promoting and organizing hip-hop events in the late 1980s. He served as a DJ for various artists and rappers and founded a record label, later joined by others following the passing of his long-time friend East. He has released countless mixtapes and started the "Cut Killer Mix" series in 1996.
