DJ Duke is a DJ, producer, and label owner based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Denmark in the late 1960s, he competed in the World DJ Mixing Championship in London in March 1987. His first release, "Genius At Work," created on reel-to-reel in 1986, was released following his move to New York in 1987. Duke founded his own house label in 1990 and achieved chart success in 1993. His related company was registered in 1994. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1999, where he started a new venture in 1999 and another in 2008.
