DJ Harvey, born Harvey Bassett in 1967 in Cambridge, England, is a renowned British DJ and producer. He gained prominence for promoting the "New Hard Left" club night at the Blue Note club in London and was one of the first resident DJs at the Ministry Of Sound. Additionally, he worked at the Zap club in Brighton and has since DJed globally across Europe, Australasia, Japan, Asia, and the US, where he is currently based in Los Angeles, California. DJ Harvey has been deeply involved in the underground club music scene, contributing to legendary underground labels and creating mixes and remixes for various artists and labels. His eclectic sets include a blend of Disco, Italo-disco, Balearic, and House music, among other styles. His cult status was further solidified with a cameo role as himself in the movie "Mission: Impossible—Fallout" (2018). At one point, he also promoted a hotel venue in Hawaii.
