DJ Hazard is a prominent Drum & Bass producer hailing from Birmingham, born in 1977. He began his career as a DJ on Kool FM Midlands and gained experience working at the Music First shop in the Custard Factory, as well as the Basement Beats record shop in Birmingham. His first release, a white label single titled "Year 2000," came out on Jason Ball's Promo Recordings. Over the years, DJ Hazard established his own labels, including Radius, Structure, and R-Sound, while also releasing tracks under the alias Dirty Harry, such as "You Don't Need To Know" and "Vague" on various labels, including DJ Devize's 3D Mode. As his production skills advanced, he caught the attention of DJ Hype, leading to his first releases on Ganja and True Playaz in 2003. Since 2007, DJ Hazard has become a major figure in the Drum and Bass scene, contributing to Hype's new imprint, "Real Playaz," with notable tracks like "Busted," "Mr Happy," "Machete," "Killers Don't Die," "Busta Move," and "Proteus."
